Happy Thanksgiving!! "Both abundance and lack of abundance exist simultaneiously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend. . . when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present- love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature, and personal pursuits that bring us happiness- the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth" This was a quote shared by President Monson in General Conference last month. For me it brings into focus what I should be doing that is being thankful for what I do have and not dwelling on what I don't. So here is my expression of gratitude for the many blessings I DO have- a hardworking husband, two wonderful children who have taught me more about life than I could have imagined, a home that we can afford to live in, family that is always there for us, the best sisters in the world that are always a phone call away and have always been good examples to me, and great friends that we would not have met if we had not moved away from our family. Happy Thanksgiving!
